For one weekend only, the Zellig building in Digbeth’s Custard Factory will play host to the SIFA Fireside and Friends shop in a bid to raise vital funds for people facing homelessness in Birmingham.
The shop will not only sell vintage clothing, but will also be holding stock from some of Birmingham’s favourites and SIFA Fireside’s supporters, including Draw My City, Punks and Chancers, Hissy Fit clothing and Positively Birmingham. Alongside this, there will also be exclusive SIFA Fireside merchandise for sale, featuring artwork by Birmingham illustrator, Jimmy Rogers.

The shop is open for a limited time only on Friday 8th December (12 noon – 8pm), Saturday 9th December (10am – 6pm) and Sunday 10th December (11am – 5pm) and can be found at Unit 9, Zellig, Gibb Street, B9 4AT.
As a gesture of support, the space has been provided free-of-charge by Zellig, who have also shown their support for SIFA Fireside with online raffles and networking opportunities in the past.
The funds raised will help to keep the doors open at SIFA Fireside’s Support Centre in Digbeth, where rough sleepers are supported with their most immediate needs, from housing advice to warm showers and hot meals, to wellbeing support. The Support Centre space is also used for recovery activities for individuals moving on from homelessness. These include art and music therapy, ESOL classes and job workshops.
