Volunteering at SIFA Fireside: how you can stand by our clients while they rebuild their lives in safety and with dignity.
Together, we can improve lives
SIFA Fireside simply couldn’t support our clients without the hundreds of hours given to us each month by our teams of volunteers. From serving a hot cup of coffee, to assisting in our Job Club, to simply offering a welcoming smile, our volunteers have a huge impact on the lives of people that are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness in Birmingham.
Our volunteers usually dedicate one day or two half days per week during the following times: Monday-Friday: 8.30am-1pm and every other Saturday: 10am-12pm. You’ll need to be 18+, able to commit to work with us for at least three to six months and, ideally, let us know three months in advance. Still got questions?
