Due to several volunteers recently being successfully recruited into paid positions here at SIFA Fireside, we are looking for a number of new volunteers to support us in the following exciting areas:
- Support with sorting clothing and food donations, operating the laundry and general facilities support – Any afternoon during the week.
- Supporting on our Business and Client receptions or at our shower desk – Any morning during the week.
- General Floor Support – Helping staff and clients, assisting the kitchen or helping in our clothing or food store. Any morning during the week.
- Supporting clients in our IT suite – Any morning during the week
Unless otherwise stated, the above opportunities are available in our busy Support Centre on weekdays between 8.30am – 1pm. Afternoon slots are between 12 noon and 4pm. As some of the roles are client facing, we would ideally require people who are good communicators and are sensitive to our clients’ needs. General IT literacy would also be useful for the IT support role.
