Together, we can tackle homelessness in Birmingham.

Every contribution – no matter how big or small – can make a real difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerably housed individuals. Becoming a SIFA Social Media Champion costs nothing but a few seconds to share a post from our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn page. This helps us to further our reach and connect with those people who may not know about our services, but could be the people who need us the most.

Becoming a supporter of SIFA Fireside can take whatever form is most suitable for you. Some find the time to volunteer on our Drop-In Centre and work face-to-face with our clients for a few hours each week. Others decide to run a birthday fundraising campaign and ask for donations to SIFA rather than receive birthday cards and gifts. Others take on sponsored super-heroic sporting feats, with the proceeds directly supporting SIFA’s clients.

If you have an online order that you’re going to make, you can easily add an item from our Amazon Wishlist or if you want to leave a legacy that could see SIFA Fireside continue to support homeless and vulnerably housed people long into the future, then you could consider including us in your will.

Corporate volunteering is a great way for businesses and organisations to lend a hand whilst also demonstrating corporate social responsibility. Whether your company can send a few volunteers to help cook up a hearty meal for our clients, help with CV writing or commit to a one-off day helping us to give the Drop-In Centre a new lick of paint, there are always plenty of ways that your business can support us and we’re always up for hearing new ideas.

How do you think you could make a difference? Volunteer, fundraise, make a donation, join our corporate partnership programme or simply pass on the details of someone sleeping rough; there are plenty of ways that you can improve the lives and wellbeing of homeless people.
